As the mayoral office will be higher functioning from the start of the new term, more media outlet will occur in frequency. This will include many such things as new bi-laws and changes to the traffic system. People need to be informed and the media needs to be delivered and implemented with the same degree of precision, as the hard work that comes from the mayoral office.
The mayor of Auckland is not greatly involved in this division of work once the information has been sent. Left brainer's working within the mayoral office in extra high performance aspegers environments are not involved nor are typically compensated in the social sciences and right brain expert matters of media presenting. New policies and changes are orchestrated by the deputy mayor or by a top level correspondent in public speaking and social civics. Someone who would score a 9 or a10 in these social sciences and is happy to shoulder the burden of public exposure. As the left brainer's say 'celebrities'. A high score in celebrity, public speaking, articulation and translation is required. If we were to say for example "Auckland's CBD is to be reconfigured mainly all one-way in 6 weeks, the traffic will accelerate by 3X and A to B pedestrian speeds will increase also by 3X" then the traffic will, in actuality accelerate by 3X, pedestrian speeds will increase by 3X and the job will be done in the timeframe originally specified with inconveniences illustrated in a realistic way.
The point is that Ryan's role within the council departments, is not a role of public exposure, public eye and paparazzi of politician.

We all know that the single largest contributor to environmental damage is not mineral fuels, it is the celebrity of politician's. The single biggest cause of havoc on the environment is not even de-forestation, it is the celebrity of politicians concept. Also what if a politician or a political leader was to get a pleasing reward from paparazzi attention? Imagery-promotion of candidates are non-intellectual and not a constituent of a quality campaign. Promotion of peoples skill sets to carry out the specific council roles are important too. The community however, in today's times, need to feel comfortable to have seen a person's face somewhat, so please be measured in proportion, as to the guidance in this statement.
