Next Generation of Leaky Buildings

As mayor, Ryan will put an immediate halt to the formation of the next generation of leaky homes and buildings. Ryan has actual experience to offer. He has been on a weather tightness committee for a block of apartments, worked as a property developer and been involved in two class actions against council and won both times over construction methods that should not have been used. Ryan has a precise understanding of water ingress and the physical constraints of commonly used construction materials. With knowledge comes understanding, with understanding comes solutions. Ryan can do more for Auckland than other candidates to keep tbs on the way building is headed, vote Ryan for mayor.

As mayor, Ryan would have no doubt to save Auckland half a billion dollars in leaky home diversion alone. Ryan says:  "Before we start building thousands more homes, we can look after and maintain what we have got. I look forward also saving vast amounts in elongated legal claims that can apply some good fair common sense. Ryan will work harder to identify defective homes and buildings and to stop ingress with low cost solutions.

Can builders who are top-of-their-field provide a free health check for buildings and homes? Can free loans for defect and worn roof repairs be granted and attached to home-owners rates bill? Will this sort of idea save billions and protect the environment, save on loss of rotten materials, save on filling landfills with torn down homes and promote the looking after of one another? Is it possible to provide loans if needed that can be attached against people rates in a seamless way? Are Auckland home owners aware that modern materials require maintenance of which they will otherwise leak, including bitumen roofing that is still being used in everyday construction?  Are elderly people able to maintain their homes, of which the next generation of Aucklander’s will one-day inherit? Why are Auckland’s land fills filled with building waste? Do we need a building waste recycling centre and to better maintain our existing homes? Food for thought, questions answered by voting Ryan for mayor.
